Producing practical engineers is the primary object
of the colleges of (maritime) technology.Today in the
age of internationalization, they are expected so much
to develop, besides a profound knowledge of their major
field, refined and well-rounded personalities.
General Education Division gives the students fundamental
knowledge of specialized subjects and helps them cultivate
some other qualities for excellent engineers.
In the subjects of general education, more time is allotted
to the learning of mathematics, a basis for further
studies of technical subjects, and English, the most
popular language in the world.
